Some pics of the house

Ok, these are for Shelley. I will get you some of the inside later. We are still needing to paint the basement as well as 3 other bathrooms and another extra bedroom. I am more of a girl that likes to get things done then post. I figure right now is a good time to take the outside because the yard is covered in snow. The sun was shinning and I hadn't gotten the mail Saturday so I decided to take a walk. One thing I really miss is my mail being delivered to my door. I know lazy huh, but it really stinks to walk out to the road in the winter. The rods hanging down on the porch are for swinging benches but we took them down for the winter. Still debating if I want them back up.

Life in a nutshell

I have been the worst blog slacker. I say I am going private and I guess what I should have said was I was leaving. Life has been really busy. We bought a house and it was 8 years old so along with that has came lots of projects for us. Painting updating lights and all that good fun stuff. Some days I wonder if the projects are ever going to end. Along with moving comes the usual new people Sunday talks and this next week I am sure the the "meet with the Bishop" the callings are coming. Not that I am complaining. I love having callings. It gives me the opportunity to serve and I love that. My computer and I don't really get to have a big relationship lately. If I get some time I love to catch up on others live. The past few months have been great though. We had a WONDERFUL christmas (pictures to come). A wonderful NEW YEAR! We have had a great winter. We have only been snowed in once and thanks to a wonderful neighbor he took care of that for us. We have got to play out in the snow (pictures to come) and have been enjoying a home of our own. Even if it brings projects. The kids are great and growing so fast. They play together sometimes but actually are at a stage where they fight ALOT. It actually drives me CRAZY. So that is when I send Ta to her room to play dollhouse and shut the door so Bridger won't "BUG" her. I know he means well he just doesn't quite understand how to play at Ta's level. Taylor became a Sunbeam. Which made me feel old and I was kinda sad that day. She was sure cute that Sunday morning. We had given her a little B of M and a scripture case for Christmas. I had explained to her on Christmas day about being a sunbeam and bringing her scriptures to church. A week had passed they were hanging on a hook in the mud room and as we were leaving for chruch she says "oh I need to get my scriptures" so cute it melted my heart. She had done pretty good. Bridger is not our little baby anymore. He is saying words and one of them makes me realize we watch to much TV because it is DORA. Jaman has been busy with work. Hoping to plan a fun relicensure trip soon. Things are going good. We are being so blessed. We are enjoying being out in the country. After living in the city since being married I forgot how wonderful it is to never hear a siren and cars passing all the time. The neighbor just brought a loaf of HOT WHEAT BREAD. Like I said I love this road I live on. Well the bread is calling my name.

We love you Taylor!

It seems like just yester day you were this small. Time has flown by. You still seem like our little baby girl. We love you so much. You are quite the little stinker a lot of times but I would never change you. You wouldn't be Taylor if you weren't always on the go. Always in to something or making some kind of mess. You are such a sweet girl. I can tell at such a young age you have a desire to serve. You have such a love for people. You are so friendly in stores and tell everyone hi. You love your little brother so much and you are always looking out for him and making sure nobody is stealing his toys or being mean. We love you!
Some of your favorites at age 3
Color: Pink
Movie: Tinkerbell
Food: Potatoes (makes sense she lives in Idaho)
Favorite thing to play: Barbies
Favorite thing to do with Mommy: make cookies
Favorite thing to do with Daddy: read books
Favorite thing to do with Bridger: play
Other things to remember about you at this age:
You don't have a favorite blanket to sleep with but instead you are attatched to your pillow. You know your pillowcase inside and out. I always try to trick you when yours is washing and you always know it isn't yours. I don't know how because they are identical. You love to sleep with your stuffed pink dog "Bella" ! You LOVE music. You love to sing and love to play your piano. I really don't know where you get this because your dad and I can't carry a note. I hope you continue your love for music because I love to hear you sing. You love to sing primary songs. You know a lot and learn SOO fast. You amaze us everyday at things you know. You love to play starfall on the computer. You can run the computer better than your Grandma KayeDawn.(sorry mom) You love to learn. It is fun to see you soak everything in. You love church. You love to drive by the temple. You always talk about getting married there someday. I hope you will. I love you and I am so thankful that Families are Forever. Happy Birthday Ta!!

Happy 3rd Birthday

We were at Jaman's parents house for the weekend before Taylor's birthday on Monday. We had went to my parents ealier that week and she got all her presents there. So I packed all my cake stuff and we just had cake there. Taylor changed her mind a million times on what kind of cake she wanted. In fact I had everything in my cart for a castle cake and then she saw this little tinkerbell and wanted a tinkerbell cake with flowers. It crazy that she even cares but she was so excited when she saw her cake. I am so not good at cakes but I love how she looked at her cake and was so excited. She made me feel like Martha Stewart for a brief second. Kids are so fun because it doesn't take much to please them and make them excited. I can't believe she is already 3. Time flies.
She really got into the blowing out the candles. I think everyone wanted to pass up the first layer of cake after she was done.

Birthday Play Date !

For Taylor's birthday I didn't want to really do a big party. Life is a little bit hectic around here. Closing on a house. Trying to make sure everything can be switched in our name and all the good stuff of moving. CRAZY! I feel like we just did that. So I let Taylor have her good friend from the ward Abbey over. They had so much fun and they play AWESOME together. I haven't ever heard them fight once or have any argument. She gave Taylor a Cinderella Barbie. Taylor loved it. After opening it they had their little princess talk for awhile. It is so fun listening to little girls. My favorite conversation. Abbey says "I love Snow White.", Taylor responding "I love Ariel." Abbey "Me too." Taylor " Do you like Eric?" Abbey "No he is a boy and I don't like boys" Taylor replying " I like him, I like boys!" It was the cutest. Hopefully she is just talking boys in general or I may have a boy chaser on my hands.
They made macaroni necklaces. They had a ball. We played princess memory and a few more games. Then they had a popcorn party and watched Snow White.
While her friend was over she got a card from her Great Grandma Silcock. She got money and was so excited. She adores her Great Grandma Silcock. Who couldn't she is the best Grandma anyone could ask for. I love that she loves all the Grandkids SOOO much. She just adores them and loves to see them and be with them all she can.
Taylor and Abbey. I know Taylor is going to be heartbroken when we move in a few weeks and Abbey won't be in our Ward anymore. They are quite the pals. I hope for some more girls in our new ward her age.

Going Private

Well after hearing too many bad stories of blogs and a recent one from a dear friend in Utah of their kids being taken from posting too much I am jumping on the band wagon and going private. I think for the most part I have a lot of emails already. If you have received an email from me before than it looks like you are getting an invite. If you have no desire to read the blog and you get an invite then its ok to delete it. If not and you want to still read feel free to leave me your address.

Halloween 2009

Jaman and I had bought clearance costumes the year before at the end of Halloween and decided we wanted to start dressing up with the kids. So Halloween night we all dressed up and did some trick or treating in the neighborhood. We had a lot of fun...got way to much candy.....and were exausted by the end of the night.
