Well my plan worked. I finally committed to sitting down long enough to do this and now the snow has stopped. It does feel good to be caught up but it does feel like I have been sitting too long. I have a hard time sitting and feel like I should get up and do something now. Maybe go and clean up the playdough mess or all the wet snow clothes by the back door. It did cross my mind to not let the kids go out because I didn't want to go and dig for snow clothes but they won. I am glad they did. They had a lot of fun. Built a snowman, had a snow fight, and mom got caught up on the blog. Maybe a random snow day in October isn't so bad.... now bring back fall please

Getting ready for Halloween
Taylor had been begging me to decorate for Halloween. She even brought up that Nikki the neighbor had and that we were the only ones that hadn't. I told her that as soon as Bridger's birthday was over we could. So I found this cute ghost idea on a blog. So she helped me make those and we pulled out some of the decor. She had a lot of fun helping and she even made one of the bathrooms all scary by herself so she could scare her dad when he got home from work.

Birthday Boy
These pictures are terrible because the sun was just coming up. I don't have a fancy camera so I have to deal with what I have. Jaman had blown up tons of balloons and had them everywhere. He came upstairs so thrilled. He had been begging me to buy fruity pebbles for weeks. So I bought some and had them on the counter. He loved that. It's funny he would choose those over cooked breakfast. He is our cereal boy while Taylor loves muffins. It was easy so I won't complain. I can't belive my baby is 3. We love him so much. He is such a sweet boy (as long as he is not tired if so then watch out). He loves to snuggle. He loves to be with his sister. He follows and does everything she does. He hates nursery and asks to go to primary every sunday. He loves to hunt. He is smart and talks so well. Somedays I wonder where he gets words that he uses. He is such a good helper. We love you Bridger.

Presents
We let him open his presents from us that morning. As you can tell from everything what was his favorite. We or should I say Jaman got him a little red rider BB gun. He has been wanting his own real gun ever since he seen his cousin Landen's. So I told Jaman that was fine as long as it was a dad and him thing and they would shoot it together. I was happy to learn he can't cock it by himself and it is so weak it can't even kill a bird. They went out that morning and shot it for hours.

Making a Wish
All he wanted was a hunting cake. Seriously??? I thanked Jaman for that one. It was fun to have Grandpa's and Grandma's come and cousins.

Bridger
I couldn't help but snap some pictures of my growing little guy on his special day. He brings us so much joy. Love this little boy to pieces.

Preschool
Well the day finally come that Taylor could go to school. She gets to go 3 days a week for a few hours. She has loved every bit of it. She is our social butterfly so it has been so good for her to get to be with lots of kids.
Her in front of her school. It is in the basement of a home but has it's own entrance. We love it there so far. Her teacher is the sweetest lady ever.
These are the two neighbor boys that go with her. It is nice to only have to drive one of the days and then the other moms take a day.
This was on her first day of school. The past two weeks we have been on break and she has had fun but is missing her friends. I can't believe how big she is getting and maturing. She is turning into quite the little helper. Bridger cried on her first day. He missed her so much but is learning really fast it is fun to have one on one time with mom. I am thankful I get to have this time with him. We do preschool together and switch with the neighbor once a week.

Bow shooting
Jaman got a little bow for the kids to shoot. Obviously they can't go out and shoot it unless they are with their dad. It has been fun for them to get so excited for him to get off work to go and shoot the bow. Taylor can do it all on her own now but Bridger still needs some help getting it back. What am I letting my husband do to our kids?? Oh well. I would rather them out be doing this than sitting inside.

Dove Hunting
Jaman took Bridger dove hunting this day. Of course Bridger had to bring his own gun. These two are quite the pair. Jaman has a little hunter on his hands. He has a passion at such a young age. He is always asking Jaman to go. He has a stash of old hunting magazines he packs everywhere and seriously knows when one is missing. Trust me I have tried to throw a few away.

Dad's little helper
The one bad thing about a big yard is keeping weeds out of the lawn. It is quite the project to spray. This particular day I could not help Jaman so he resorted to letting Taylor drive the four wheeler. He came in and said she did awesome. I guess that is no longer my project with Jaman.

Kittens
We have officialy kept the same two kittens for a long time now. They are growing up. We have quite the bad luck but these two have stuck around. The kids are always and I mean always outside playing with the cats. I am not a pet lover and Jaman is allergic but we make it work. We have had no mice in the yard or any window wells so I can't complain. One is Bridgers and he named his MAC and Taylors is named LYLA.
