We discovered this fun place the first year back. We wanted to take them again so we loaded up Saturday morning and headed to the U-Pick barn. I love this place. I also love the concept behind it. It is owned by a family with lots of boys. The boys plant corn, pumpkins, watermelon, cantelope, cucumbers, and every other vegi you can think of. Then you come and pick what you want and all the money goes to LDS mission funds. It has already paid for some missions. I always feel like my money is going to a good thing. On Saturdays they give kids train rides. The kids loved their train ride and enjoyed picking corn. They also have a cute mini corn/staw maze for the kids. It was fun to watch them make their way through. Taylor is really into that kind of stuff right now. She loves mazes on paper too. This is a definte tradition for our little family that I want to carry on. I hope this barn stays around for a long time.

Corn
We also picked corn at the U-Pick barn. Our garden didn't get much love and attention this year due to putting in a yard so we didn't have corn. I wanted the kids to still get the experience so we picked a bunch. Brought it home and shucked it and threw it in the freezer. I love freezer corn. We left a bunch as cobs so I am anxious to see how it stays. It was such a fun night. Jaman and I got lots of laughs as we shucked the corn. They were so funny to us I must record them so we can look back and laugh. Bridger kept trying to pull them all at once. He would pull so hard. (as seen in the picture) As he was grunting from pulling so hard he kept telling us " It is so heavy..it is so heavy!! Taylor was really good at this. She definately took a long time to shuck her corn. She pulled them off one at a time. She kept telling us, "There are a lot of shucks on this corn." When she got into the silk she kinda freaked out and said "and there is lots of cobwebs in her to." All is all it was a fun night with lots of memories. I love nights when kids make you laugh.

I can't believe 2 years ago we brought home this sweet bundle of joy. It makes me get teary eyed looking at this picture. Where has time gone. I always look at their pictures and wish I can relive moments. I wish I could pick him back up and snuggle him when he was this little. Bridger has brought our family so much joy. It has been fun having a little boy. I never realized a mother - son bond until I had him. There is something extra special about little boys. They surley grab your heart a little different than a girl. I love my kids the same but each are special in different ways. Bridger is definatly in the busy two year old stage. Always getting into everything. Filling the toilet with toilet paper, playing in the drinking fountain which makes a huge mess in the mud room, dumping out toys, squeezing out toothpaste and anything else he can get his hands on. He loves his big sister. They are great parntners in crime. I fear Taylor teaches him to much sometimes. He loves to learn and has a deep love for his Savior Jesus Christ. It is so sweet when I ask him what he dreams about and he smiles to calmly and says "JESUS". Here are what he says are his favorites. I am sure it is just what he remembers and comes to his mind.
Favorite Color: Blue
Favorite Food: Just food
Favorite thing to play: in the dirt
What I like to do with mommy: paint
What I like to do with daddy: play ball
What I like to do with my sissy: play with the kittens
Bridger is so special to us. We are so blessed to have him in our life. Happy 2 years!

Birthday Party
Bridger wanted a four wheeler cake. So I did my best to make him happy. I love it doesn't take much. A little frosting and of course a four wheeler. It was fun to have lots of family here to celebrate. Family makes birthdays all the more special. He got lots of fun gifts. Lots of boy gifts as Jaman would say. So now our boy is stocked up on cars, dump trucks, fire trucks, nerf guns, and the other fun boy things.

Birthday Surprise.
Bridger absolutely loves four wheelers, but since we don't have one he is always wanting to go to the cabin and ride Grandpa's. Every morning he would faithfully ask me if we could go ride the wheeler. Many days tears were shed when the answer would be no. So Jaman had a brilliant idea and ordered him a powerwheels 4 wheeler. He loves it. He was so excited to get it. Now he cruises all around the back yard and runs things right over. I thought the kids would fight but they have done really well. Bridger just always insists Taylor gets on back and he has control.
