Here is the dresser we refinished that the Corbaley's gave us. Thanks again for this. It turned out great and will work awesome as a changing table/ dresser for Brider. I just need to get one of the changing pads. It was a fun project to do. Jaman sanded it all off for me and I painted and picked out some new hardware. It is always so much fun getting cute furniture with character and fixing it up.
Here is the blanket and pillows I made. The other square of the blanket is white. Sewing has become quite fun and frustrating. I have never had a lesson in my life but I sure do like to make up what I am doing. I am sure if a proffesional looked at my work close they would laugh but for me it is good enough. It's that thought that counts right. I am giving Bridger a piece of me.
Here are the frames I made. Thanks Andrea for the extra frame and inspiration. Jaman sanded it all off and it was good as new.
This is what I have been working on when Taylor takes her naps. It has been a lot of fun to work on a hobby I love and have some "me" time. Another awesome thing that the students here will understand is that I did this all for such little money which is so important to us that are living off student loans!! We are so excited for this little guy to come. This pregnancy has been quite the challenge for me so it makes me appreciate him all the more. Jaman is ready for another male in the house so we can even things out a little.

Adam-ondi-Ahman
Today for a little Sunday adventure we went to Adam-ondi-Ahman. Jaman and I have been to Nauvoo, Liberty Jail, Independence, Winter Quarters, and Carthage since we have lived here but have never went to Adam-ondi-Ahman. So since my little sister Sarah and her friend have been here this week we thought we would take the drive. We figured it would be a last chance for us before the summer ends and we have a new addition to the family. We always just thought why would we want to go and see a field, but we quickly learned what such a sacred place this was. From the second out of the car it was so peaceful and the Spirit was so strong. It really is so beautiful. It is so green. So for all of you here that have not been there yet it was a nice little Sunday drive and there is picnic tables there to. There actually was quite a few people there today. Definatley go in the summer when it is so pretty and green. Whenever I visit these sites the Spirit always bears testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel. I am so thankful to have the truth. Life would be so hard without it.

Dressing Up!!!
Taylor's fourth of July dress. Yesterday I had Taylor wear her fourth of July dress to church. She looked so cute. Notice the chapstick in every picture. She is obsessed with chapstick and lotion. When I take her to the dollar store and let her pick a toy she quickly ventures out of the toys and finds the lotion row.
This picture I had to post because I am so excited Taylor is finally having some hair. I swear it is taking forever for it to grow. It is also getting so blonde from being out in the sun so much. She may be a blonde but sure doesn't act like one. She surprises me everyday of her smartness. I think she inherited Jaman's smarts!!

Firework Fun!!
The past years we have been here we have always went to the Royals game on the 4th and then stayed for the fireworks but this year we decided to stay in Overland Park and just go to Corporate Woods fireworks. Jaman's school is right there and has a perfect big hill so we went and got dinner and ice cream and brought it and had a little picnic. We then played around running up and down the hill with Taylor. That girl has so much energy. Hopefully after this pregnancy I get some of my energy back. I am thankful for a husband with lots of energy.
As we sat there amoung complete strangers I thought of another thing I am going to miss about living in Overland Park and that is how nice and genuine the people are. People are just nicer here. I can't really explain it. Just in the few hours we were there Taylor was given a glow bracelet, a juice, and people brought their puppies over for her to play with. I just really enjoy that everyone here for the most part acts like they have been your friend for years when really you are just meeting them.

Fourth of July Fun!
We had fun with our little family on the fourth. Being so far away from family is hard on holidays but I love that being away makes us stronger as a little family! We started the day off going swimming. Taylor loves going swimming. Her and I try to go to the pool every other day! She always loves it when dad comes though because he builds way cooler sand castles than I do.
This is why I love Marty pool so much. Taylor can have fun in the pool and also get to play in the sand! I would have to say she spends more time playing in the sand but that is fine with me. As long as she is enjoying herself and getting the chance to be out of the house and out being mobile that is what makes me happy!!
