Pumpkin Carving

Don't you just love Taylor's shirt? She had one of her nice white school shirts on and I told her to go down to her room and get an old shirt on. She dug out of the "too small" bin and came upstairs with this on. I guess I was not too worried. I figured she couldn't ruin and old pj shirt so we left it how it was. I was terrible at taking many pictures. I guess it was because my hands were so dirty with helping Bridger. At least they will be able to look at these and know we did carve pumpkins with them.

U-Pick tradition

There is a cute little barn here that you can go for a train ride and pick a pumpkin. All the money goes towards LDS missions of young boys. We are all for supporting it and the kids have a great time.

The kids always enjoy the straw maze. It is just the perfect size for them and I can watch them and know they are not lost.

It was so cute on the train ride. Bridger has been having some big anxiety. He hates when Jaman or I leave and he gets anxious about being alone. So Taylor was being so sweet and making him feel safe. I looked down and they were holding hands. So sweet. I love their sister/brother bond. I don't think I have many pictures when they are both looking. Anybody else have this problem?

Fall Apple Picking

My friend Christie and I decided to take the kids to an orchard by our house. It was an orchard of an old man in our ward that had passed away. The new owners of the home wanted all the apples picked so you could come and pick as many apples as you wanted from the 130 trees for free. We had a good time. I think the kids did more apple eating and tasting than picking but that is ok. It was fun to have good fresh apples for eating and making apple pie.

IT'S A ??

Yes. That is right we found out today we will be having a baby BOY joining our family. We are so excited to have such a wonderful blessing coming our way. Boys are great. I was happy either way. I just want a healthy baby. Taylor was voting for a girl and Jaman and Bridger wanted a boy. This pregnancy I have definaetly witnessed a loving Heavenly Father who has carried me most of the way I feel. With Taylor I was so sick. Bridger I was still sick. I always get gestational hyper throid so I was so nervous about getting pregnant. Pregnancy is so hard on my body. So I kept getting inspiration that we should have a baby. I would have dreams and constant feelings. I kept telling Heavenly Father I didn't know if I could handle being that sick and take care of my family. Over and over I was prompted it was time. The other two kids took us some time to get pregnant so I thought ok we can start trying. It happened seriously in like 2 days. I guess we were supposed to get pregnant. I was sick at first. Not anything near like the other two. Then the blood tests came and my mid-wife said "How are you functioning" your thyroid numbers are horrible. They are very severe. I knew I had times where my heart would beat out of control and of course I have been tired just like any other pregnancy. I would have good days and bad days. She just couldn't believe that I hadn't been feeling the side effects as bad as I should. Right then and there I knew that my Heavenly Father was blessing me immensely. I am so thankful for Him and His daily tender mercies. We are so excited to have another baby. I am sure it is going to take some getting used to the number 3 but we will adjust.

{18} Posts later

Well my plan worked. I finally committed to sitting down long enough to do this and now the snow has stopped. It does feel good to be caught up but it does feel like I have been sitting too long. I have a hard time sitting and feel like I should get up and do something now. Maybe go and clean up the playdough mess or all the wet snow clothes by the back door. It did cross my mind to not let the kids go out because I didn't want to go and dig for snow clothes but they won. I am glad they did. They had a lot of fun. Built a snowman, had a snow fight, and mom got caught up on the blog. Maybe a random snow day in October isn't so bad.... now bring back fall please

Getting ready for Halloween

Taylor had been begging me to decorate for Halloween. She even brought up that Nikki the neighbor had and that we were the only ones that hadn't. I told her that as soon as Bridger's birthday was over we could. So I found this cute ghost idea on a blog. So she helped me make those and we pulled out some of the decor. She had a lot of fun helping and she even made one of the bathrooms all scary by herself so she could scare her dad when he got home from work.

Birthday Boy

These pictures are terrible because the sun was just coming up. I don't have a fancy camera so I have to deal with what I have. Jaman had blown up tons of balloons and had them everywhere. He came upstairs so thrilled. He had been begging me to buy fruity pebbles for weeks. So I bought some and had them on the counter. He loved that. It's funny he would choose those over cooked breakfast. He is our cereal boy while Taylor loves muffins. It was easy so I won't complain. I can't belive my baby is 3. We love him so much. He is such a sweet boy (as long as he is not tired if so then watch out). He loves to snuggle. He loves to be with his sister. He follows and does everything she does. He hates nursery and asks to go to primary every sunday. He loves to hunt. He is smart and talks so well. Somedays I wonder where he gets words that he uses. He is such a good helper. We love you Bridger.
