Lincoln Moments

Some of Lincoln's moments. Lincoln really has been our best baby as far as calm goes. He is pretty content but as you can tell he does have his moments. Even when he is screaming or crying though he melts all of our hearts. He has been quite the eater. Not a lot of food he doesn't like.

Summer Hikes

Our family loves the outdoors. We love to go camping. I wasn't too excited to camp with a baby so we did hikes instead. It is so fun having mountains out our backdoor. We started this day early so we could avoid the heat. The kids had a blast. Picking flowers, throwing rocks in the water, looking for bugs and enjoying adventure. Lincoln loved riding in the baby carrier. It got pretty hot so we kept his head cooled with water. We took turns packing the little munchkin. Taylor and Bridger have a good little bond. It is funny how some days they will beat each other up literately and then the next second be holding hands and the best friends in the world.

Rewind

I have been the worst blogger lately. I have had a hard time wanting to play catch up. I am not at my computer very often. To pay bills. Other than that when I use the internet it is on my phone and I am usually waiting to pick up kids. This past while Jaman has gotten me into indexing names. I have a great husband that sees the importance of family history work so he started to rub off on me. I had a desire to try indexing and it has become addictive. It has been a lot of fun. I love to see all these names of people who have passed away and I love to picture what they may have been like. So after hours at the computer I realized it was time to get back to the blog. I love having this blog as a family journal. It is pretty much the only journal I keep. I want to have this history for my kids so they can go back and read it.  It makes me sad to look back on these pictures of Lincoln. We celebrated his 1st birthday last night. I can't believe how fast time went.

There is nothing more precious finding babies asleep on their dad. I always can't resist snapping a picture. I love love morning snuggles in our bed. Growing up in my family every Saturday or Sunday morning we would pile on my parents bed. All packed together and talk about our weekend. I loved those moments. I remember whoever woke up and made it to their room first always got the best spot. So in our house I love to carry on that tradition but on any morning we don't have to be somewhere we always pile in bed and snuggle and talk. I cherish these moments. I hope our kids can look back and have fond memories of family talks and snuggles in dad and moms bed.

We are still here

What can I say I have totally fell out of blog world. I have been horrible. I have 3 kids that seem to consume 99 % of my time. And this little one consumes the most. I have decided life with a baby is busy. I have forgotten. It is so much fun but a lot different. Life is going good. We are just trying to make the best of winter. It is definitely  not our most favorite time of year. The kids are growing and growing right before our eyes. Tay is enjoying kindergarten. She is loving reading books herself. She is such a smart little girl. I know she gets bored a lot because she is ahead of the game but that is ok. She still loves being social. She is loving gymnastics. The past years she did dance and never really liked it. I told her she could try gymnastics. She LOVES it and counts down the days until her next class. Bridger is getting big too. He does school with me at home. He learns really fast and is such a perfectionist. I don't think we have any pencils with erasers because he wants it perfect. He must get that from his dad. Ok maybe the both of us. He is such a good little helper. He is a good big brother to Lincoln. Lincoln has no interest for baby toys only Bridgers big trucks, pirate ships, guns etc. I am thinking i should just pack away the baby toys. Lincoln is getting big right before our eyes. It makes me so sad. He is crawling all around. No desire of walking yet. He loves big people food. It is hard to get him to eat baby food at times. He is a pretty mellow happy baby. He does love being held and is a big time mommy's boy. I eat that all up. He is still a horrible sleeper but I still remind myself every waking that someday I will miss this. He has 6 teeth and waves bye bye. I just wish time would slow down. Jaman and I are both doing well. Staying busy with work, kids, and callings. Jaman got thrown a new curve ball. He has always served in Young Mens since we were married. They just recently released him from the young mens president and put him in as the Elder's Quorm president. It had definitely been a change but he is learning to love it and learning about all the service hours that come with it. We are happy and well.

A fun Halloween Pillow from placemat

I am really not one to post ideas much but we had fun making these pillows to put on our front swings. They are so easy and cheap. I saw these place-mats at target for 2.99. I loved them. I then  un-stitch a corner and stuff with pillow stuffing and restitch up and WA LAa cute easy cheap Halloween pillow. Now I plan to spray them with water proof spray so they can be outdoors.

Kindergarten

Well I never thought I would be old enough to have a kid in school. I guess I am old now. Taylor has officially started kindergarten. She loves it so far. Her favorites are recess, gym, and music time. She does hate getting up early. It has been a fight some mornings. She has opted to have her dad take her on his way to work so she can get 45 minutes more of sleep. Don't blame her. I took a few minutes to interview her.
Favorite color: pink  What you want to be when you grow up: a piano player and singer (she loves to sing..I hear her singing 90% of the day and have had multiple people tell me that she is really good and on tune. Jaman and I don't carry a tune so who knows where she got that talent)  Favorite Food: chocolate cake and smoothies Favorite TV show: Jessie  Favorite thing to do: be with her family

We love you Taylor..hoping for a wonderful school year.

Lincoln 4 months

Oh how time flies. I am behind on this blog and need to do some catching up now that we have started school and life gets back into routine. I just had to post some pictures of little Lincoln I took the other night. He is growing so fast. At 4 months you roll over from back to stomach. Eat your rice cereal. Totally a mommy's boy. Such a happy baby as long as someone is paying attention to you. Get carried a lot by your mom. Some days I feel you live on my hip. Like to goo and scream. Love your older sister and brother. Hold onto toys. We love you so much. Life would not be the same without you. You have brought our family so much joy. Now stop growing!!
